MiLB Draft- The MiLB Draft will begin in early January, the exact date will be at the commissioners discretion. It will start before the international signing period starts.
- The MiLB Draft consists of 10 rounds.
- There is a 24 hr time clock per pick.
- The draft order will be determined by using a weighted draft lottery for the bottom 10 team. The percentages below are what will be used.
#16-14 - 15% #13 - 13% #12 - 12% #11 - 10% #10 - 8% #9 - 6% #8 - 4% #7 - 2%
The percentage you see will be the number of balls that team has in the lottery. The bottom six slots will be the playoff teams with the champ getting pick #16 and runner up getting #15. The other 4 spots are determined by when you get knocked out of the playoffs and your in-season standing to decide 13/14 and 12/11, with the team with the worse record getting the higher pick. The draft order that is established for the first round will carry through for rounds 2-10. - The prospect limit is set at 30. If your minor league system is full at the time of your pick, you MUST drop a prospect at the time of your selection. If this is not done your recently selected draft pick will be subject to be voided.
