Can we do something to help some teams with pitcher injuries?
My thought: a pitcher on a team whose contract is over $20 and does not pitch more than 10 innings can have half his contract credited or if they have TJ and on rookie deal they don’t go up a level
Ie Cole is $16.xx this year Strider stays $2.5
I think we saw a dip in SP prices and the hits on Diaz, buehler, etc see unnecessary harsh
I think each team having one.

Would be able to be applied before June 1 theoretically .
I think the pitching market was low spending due to injury fears and is only going to get worse

Speaking as the person who currently has 9 players on the IL that totals $116.1 of my cap (41.5%), I couldn't disagree more. To me, this is one of the differences from a redraft league. If it makes your stomach churn a little as you sign a long-term contract with a SP, then I don't think you're much different than a real GM who has to do the same thing. That's the risk involved. And when the injuries unfortunately pile up on one team, it makes that team make difficult decisions like who do I cut, who do I trade, or do I punt this season? This is part of running a long-term team in my opinion.
I knew I was taking a risk when I traded for Alcantara and Woodruff for this year knowing neither would pitch. I have now worked my way into a spot where my roster is tight. I need to manage through this without relief for the consequences of my decisions. I know you also have 6 pitchers on the IL, but two of those are Gonsolin & deGrom that you got massive discounts on through FA. It's the ebb and flow of dynasty. At least that's my thoughts.

Royals while I do appreciate the creative thinking I gotta agree with Randy on this one. Injuries are a part of the game and managing through them is part of life in a dynasty league. It is unfortunate when your team gets overwhelmed by them, especially on the pitching side. I agree it does force you to make the difficult decisions of staying the course, pivoting and/or punting the season. Which for me is part of the fun and beauty of dynasty baseball (not saying it doesn't suck at times.) All of us that have been here for a while have been through it at least once or twice. It makes the healthy seasons and years that everything comes together all that more rewarding and enjoyable.
