Hey guys,
So I have an issue coming up that I would like league input on for the decision. I will be out of the country from Feb. 5-12 on a work trip where I will have very limited Internet access. I will do everything I can to check in on the auction but may not be able to do this every single day. Is there any way I could have a 36 or 48 hour time window to respond for that week? I know that I am asking for special treatment and if this is viewed as being extremely unfair, I will accept that and deal with what happens that week. But I thought I would bring it up to see if the league would be ok with this. Thanks for your vote and input.

I don't mind making a case for extra time at all for those players you bid on. The auction does take forever so it really won't effect many guys as we all know some guys are on the board for a week. What I'd suggest is instead of starting the auction with 10 guys we start with say 15-20 that was we can have a solid idea who's going to be up for the 48 hours.

Is it possible for commissioner assistance? Could Mets leave behind a chart or players he is bidding on, players he is interested in and possibly a max limit for those players? Along with him checking in from time to time. I know that's what I would do.

Fantasy baseball is more important than work! Skip the trip and just focus on the league - that is really the only reasonable option I see!

Lol
I would say I'm ok with him having an extended window if he was involved early in the auction or if you were the 2nd highest bidder - maybe have an intermediate highest and best kept between tj and the other Winner that you have to beat.
No extensions for .1 bids imo. Probably should make it like a 2.0 minimum bid for extensions or something like that

I like Cubs' idea. Randy can give me limited control of his bidding and I can step in if the clock is running low on his behalf.

Only reason I mentioned it was because when I worked nights and others worked nights or didn't want to miss there(much smaller) window. They would give me a list of players to draft for them. That was when we had a 4hour draft time and clock ran 24/7.

I think I should have WiFi every night so I should be good. I also will send some info to Braves if I need help.
