We currently have 14 owners with 2 open spots to be decided. Your vote is required concerning whether you would rather continue the search for the 2 additional owners to get us back to 16 teams, or would you rather halt the search and contract the 2 unowned teams and make the league 14.
If 14 teams then we would need to realign the divisions to possibly 2 divisions and have further discussion and league vote in regards to the playoff structure.
The quicker we get this completed the quicker we can move on.

I'm very torn on this, but in the end I don't really care either way. I think both solutions can be worked out. Having new owners is tough, so bringing in 3 in one year would seemingly be difficult.
And then there's the part of me that is trying to figure out a way that all the specifics will work out with contracting and I don't have any great solutions...
That being said, I'm voting to stay at 16 and find two more owners. But I'm fine with it either way.

IF we want to keep it at 16 then we need two more owners. Pirates has already recruited 1.

I really don't care either way. I think 16 is ideal but it always seems that we struggle to find 16 good active owners. And when we have 16 at least 2 are dead teams. So I'm voting for 14 BUT if we can find 2 more quality guys I'm down with staying at 16 or expanding back up in the future. Hopefully its easier to find and keep guys around now that the drama is gone.
Btw, I want to apologize to the league for putting us in this situation by running A's and Rays out. I was just well past my breaking point and could not put up with it anymore. At the time talking to a few other guys it seemed like their feelings were mutual. But anyways, Sorry for the dilemma guys.

I agree with everything Indians Mike said. I would love 16 teams so long as we can find good owners. I voted 14 but will gladly support 16. And I think we are better off with less drama.

I voted 16 as flooding the draft/FA market with the reduced teams' players favors those with excess holdings, both cap and pick, in this offseason (I'm admittedly making a big leaping assumption of the leftover players being sent straight to FA/draft). And sure, maybe I'm biased as I've just gotten Trout on the books etc., but I think its a valid point regardless.
(I'm also admittedly saying all this without having done a wide survey of the open teams' rosters)
(And if there's only 1 person left to find to get to 16, I almost hope this issue would be swept under the rug, but perhaps not)
