Is there any reason why we have moved the draft a week earlier than it has ever been before? I feel like we just keep making the season start sooner every year for no reason. Pretty soon we are going to start drafting on Christmas day.

By adding all these extra rounds and a bigger roster there isn't really a reason why we shouldn't draft early as far as I can see
