With regard to the updated rookie wage scale - is it possible that we could extend the free drop rate until after year 3? I can imagine I'll have a few guys who very well could be worth $5 in year 3, but not worth $10 in year 4 - It doesn't seem right that I should have to cut that guy before year 3 in order to keep him on my team.

I'm thinking of guys like Josh Fields, Wilmer Flores, or Chris Owings, guys that I can imagine being solid, but not worth $10 (I definitely hope they will be worth $10, but I'm not exactly confident that they will be).
