Does anyone know if we have a a rule somewhere about trading picks that are on the clock?
With our trade approval process clock and the draft clock it must be a draft and trade I would assume?

Its been done before. I did it when I traded up to get Rex Brothers. The trade was posted, accepted and we continued on w the draft, didn't wait for "the trade clock"

If there is a rule, let me know so that we do it right. I apologize for the huge delay. I had something last night that kept me from a computer from 5-9p eastern time. Since I got back on, I have tried to communicate with people who said they were interested in a trade and at the moment I'm just waiting for one of them to respond.

I agree with Indians, draft pick trades have been made just about every year then a pick is made right away. To my knowledge the reason you dont need to wait for the "trade clock" during the draft is because its not being made in season so its not like youd gain any stats from it. Its a bit of a special situation too, I mean if the only guys you were interested in got picked right before you then you should have the flexibility to make a trade. Even though youd only have until the end of your 24 hours. Having said that, if it was vetoed I suppose the original owner would be stuck with whomever was chosen because the draft would have moved on by then. Pretty sure that hasnt happened yet though. Seems like it would be rare.

Thanks for the clarification Rockies and I hope to get this trade done soon so that the draft can move on. I don't like holding everybody up.
