Well once again I have someone's back and they burn me. I just emailed Marlins to tell him it was his pick in the draft. He says to me "Draft?. Well I am not prepared so I guess I will just forfeit my picks." That is not happening. So many of you have asked me to replace him and I have resisted because I talk to him frequently but this is unacceptable.
He is gone. BAN HAMMER ACTIVATED!!!
We will find a new owner quickly but in the meantime we as a league will pick for the marlins franchise. So who will that pick be?

Marlins was a disaster for a while don't blame yourself. I say the easiest and fairest thing is simply just give him the next pick in the real MLB draft, which in this case is the #1 pick. If someone misses picks we just give them next up. Fair, easy, simple.

I agree, just go down the actual draft. Its simple, easy and there is no discrepancy over which ranking site to use

If you Go by the MLB Draft like Yanks said then it Should be Carlos Correa! If it's the MLB Rankings it is Byron Buxton so Take Ur Pick

give him Correra, he went #1 overall. Looking at his team he has no long term SS solution anyways.

I don't think ruining is the right word. I think you meant running.

Sounds ok to me too. I was looking at ranking sites earlier in case this came up and they are all over the place. As Nationals pointed out, choosing one fairly would be a pain in the ass. Id be taking Correa myself if I was picking right now.

So the consensus from the speaking members is the pick should be Correa, right?
