Seriously!!! How often do I complain that this league is unfair, I believe this is the first time I've created such a fuss. Most of the time i chirp in it's to have an owners back on letting them run their team how they want. Trust me I don't want to quit and have never really gave that much thought. But to implement a rule that simply doesn't exist yet is WRONG!! Also TJ knows that i appreciate his effort and time put in here, same goe for you Rox.

Complaining that you think a rule change is unfair is one thing, I dont have a problem with that, but what you guys were doing was questioning people's integrity.

Well if we were able to bid on Bautista i don't think any of us that are complaining would have that thought.

I understand that Braves, Rox and Yanks are just trying to do what they feel is best for this league and if I was the only one that thought this was wrong and the majority of the league agreed with what has been done here so far I'd shut up. I agree that this needs to be addressed but since there is not a league wide agreeance, a rule that doens't exist and has yet to be formally proposed should not be enforced it should have to follow the same procedures as every other rule change.
I cannot help if some people get upset because their integrity is being questioned. But when the teams that were crying for Bautista to be ineligible and the teams making that call are all in first in thier division and have limited roster and cap space and won't have a chance on him unless he was put off until the offseason. How else do you want us teams with open roster spots and cap to feel? I think Mets hit the nail on it's head, this is really no different than when Darvish became eligible to bid on. But so far all I've heard as why he is ineligible is because it's stupid he got cut, it sets a bad precendent as well as puts the league down the wrong path. Which the later two will be dealt with when a rule is passed in the offseason. What sets a bad precedent and puts the league down the wrong path is making up and enforcing something that doens't exist yet just because a select few feel it's the right thing to do. Well apparently it's not.
With that being said I will post Bautista again because well I feel it's the right thing to do and the only wrong being done here is saying he's ineligible because some people feel he should be. How long it lasts before it gets deleted, I don't know.
