You guys are all shocking me with taking 18 yr olds in the first round. You realize it will be 3-4 yrs before they play? Which is 3-4 yrs on your farm club?
I'm amazed.
Castellanos, singleton and sanchez didn't effect my draft list for the first 2 rounds!

Patience and future planning are just tough things for some people to do. I can handle having a kid develop on my prospect list while finding people to fit in my roster. Especially if they have the potential to be great.

gary sanchez i've heard will be better than montero possibly.
Can I get some positive karma for that?
Yanks - lol - I love franklin's bat/age/pos too but we continue to disagree biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigtime on player value

Dude, I'm just messing with you. When it comes to prospects, every person's list and rankings probably look way different. Just like trying to decide player values along with salary. No issues from me. I'm glad we got everything worked out and the league is still going strong.

I have A-roid and Howard who I will resign next year in Free Agency, Castellanos and Singleton are logical replacements.

Nope...we will be 30 before those guys contribute. IF the make it...which castellanos is a tiger and their prospects never do anything.

Cards we do differ big time but I draft for needs and it has netted me some excellent drafts. I am young and set at every position but SS for years, so I needed the best SS in the draft it was either Franklin or Colon. The fact Ive seen Franky live gave me the rooting edge. My draft philosophy has always been draft young and take chances early (Flores, Turner, Motte) and draft safe late (Latos. Gabby, Allen). I've told everyone who asked I thought Franklin would slip to 20 or so, but when Stros alerted the league of this guy he screwed me so hadda get the one guy I wanted in the draft. I think Pineda and Belt were too high , Singleton and Sanchez were reaches , Lamb coulda been had in the late teens. But it's drafting so everyones tastes differ. One thing I have done is draft amazingly, my teams have sucked lol but my farm system is always solid, just wait theres about 3 more names I'm taking that you'll question more than this !

Pineda is very good but should be after Tallion as a starter and mayeb after 2-3 other guys yet to be drafted. He's been called "a perfect #3 starter" wheras theres guys have ace potential. But again theres that word potential. Do you take the safe Pineda who will be in the bigs this year has a low ceiling high floor type, or the potential ace who may never make it and if he does it will be 3+ years. All in the mindset
