Hi all,
I had a spreadsheet where I was keeping track of different "Top 100" prospect lists. I thought it'd be interesting to see how the Kirby league farm systems looked according to the overall consensus.
There are some caveats here. There's an assortment of lists, and I weighed everything equally, although I think some lists are kind of crappy. Some lists are more fantasy-focused while others are more "reality" focused. For players who were unranked on certain lists, I assigned them a default rank of 140th. (For lists that extended beyond 100, I would include those ranks until reaching 140.)
There's probably nothing shocking to take away from this, but I thought it was fun. Rangers' minor league system is daaaamn good, although there are a few others that are really impressive too. Of course, some of the "down" systems are teams that traded prospects to contend or are new owners.
