This is a follow up to the ongoing RFA discussion going on here. Lets first vote on whether we want to scrap the current RFA process starting with 2019 RFAs in favor of a more limited system. (specifics are TBA) If this passes it will allow us to better determine the specifics of a new process.

To clarify by 2019 RFAs I mean players that will be RFAs for the pre 2019 season auction, so 2018 rookies and 2018* contracts.

11 votes in favor. So lets move forward with the plan to start the new process next off-season.
I think we also need to decide what RFA designation will mean moving forward. Does it just mean you just have the right to match? Match w/ 10% discount? Match w/ the current discounts (10 & 15%)?
What does everyone think, should we vote on that too?

We should probably just keep voting on each of these steps as I feel we get better participation with that than waiting for all to comment. People can comment if they have an idea different from the ones listed above/in the poll.

Okay look. Personally I would love it if we got 14 votes (Rox and I don't vote) on every poll or rule change posted. But I understand that is not going to happen. However I do expect every member of the trade committee to vote and I encourage them be vocal in the discusions as well. Im not dismissing everyone else, I would like everyone to be active in these discussions. I know these aren't trade but as trade committee member, you are a league veteran, senior staff if you will so you should want and care enough to vote. So if a member doesn't want to vote or participate in discusions that fine but we have multiple active veteran owners that don't have an official title and would make fine committee members. Maybe it's time for some fresh blood...

Ahhh sorry guys I just needed to vent and get that out. I got a lot goin on at the moment and Im sure Im redirecting some of my frustration. Look I realize everyone is busy and in the grand scheme of things this is just a stupid little fantasy baseball league that is meant to be fun. But let's face it most of spend a lot of time and effort on this. Although, I don't think I'm asking too much
