So I guess it is time to discuss how we are going to handle Ohtani...
I'm not sure how Fantrax is going to handle him. But I know that Yahoo is going to have separate players for Ohtani the pitcher and Ohtani the hitter. I've seen other discussions about making him one player who would be eligible at P and UT (or OF if he played there enough) - but you would only be able to play him as a pitcher OR a hitter on a given day.
Regardless of how Fantrax handles it, we have some control since our drafting and auctions are done here on Proboards. My opinion would be that whoever drafts Ohtani gets both versions of him, regardless of whether that ends up being one player or two on the league page (and he would take up only 1 roster spot when it comes to the 25 prospect/35 MLB limits).

I am for whatever you guys decide. I agree with Reds here but wouldn't be against him using up two roster spots either. The one thing I definitely don't like is two seperate players

I am for him being one player as well. Also, I don't think the Angels will have him hit the same day he pitches since they would not have a DH if they did that and then pulled him early.

One player should take up one roster spot regardless of what that player does. Anything else just doesn't make sense

One player should take up one roster spot regardless of what that player does. Anything else just doesn't make sense I whole heartily agree. I really don't understand why this would even be debated. He'll have pitcher/hitter eligibility and it is up to you to manage your player, just like you do with the rest of your team.
