Would love to hear some feed back on this?
Joe kelly is going to be in the bullpen unless injuries. Cozart will play. Corbin fell apart in the 2nd half. Fatigue or over performance?

Even if Corbin is for real. Cubs got 3 of the top 4 players in that trade.

Gotta give Cubbies his due. He has been shrewdly winning deals for a while now. He asks for the world and gets it. He wins this trade by a LONG shot but not a veto or anything if that's what you were suggesting

this is a trade i would have vetoed IF dustin/marlins had not been with us managing well for a year.
I'm the first to say the people's who opinions I most differ from on players, cubs/yanks, have won the last 3 years. Maybe i don't know it all.
Now, this is nothing like the deal where yankees dealt weavers rights for matt harv...i mean zach wheeler. It was probably the worst of all time - but time will tell. I will state this - I will not give new GMs the same vetos that I will give someone who has been through it.
Especially when he turned down strong offers from me last night of c-sant or donaldson for starlin.

For Instance i Valued Corbin and Cingrani and Ryu HIGH!!! But I Gave Up Corbin and Cingrani then Congrani went for PORCELLO!!!!! Why wasn't there a VETO??? Cingrani for Porcello?? Glad for Rockies pulling that off!! Sweet for Him but I wouldn't have given even an 8th round for Porcello and Cingrani wen't #16 OVERALL!! Also didn't Complain cause it was Props to Him pulling that off,,,

Hindsiight is always 20/20 so don't pretend that you know everything. At the time Corbin was fighting with Delgado and Skaggs for the #5 spot and Cingrani was headed for the bullpen or AAA because Chapman was starting. And if I remember correctly, you couldn't trade those two fast enough for Parker.

Cards you always are obsessed with my trades that you think are so unfair so let's take a quick look at one of Cards deals shall we ...
Cards got: J. Lyles, M. Harvey, N. Castellanos, and D. Ortiz for Starlin Castro, T. Reckling, J. Francisco, R. Havens
worse trade than a perennial all star starter for an unproven rookie that has still yet to make an impact
stop bringing up bad deals made Cards, we all can find bad ones. This is worse than any

Lol. You're right we all can find bad ones. You can't win them all.
But I would argue that actually didn't work out to bad for me. I got Lyles, Castellanos and Harvey back from Cards. Ortiz was a salary dump and I singed him back cheaper last year.
I also dealt Havens for 2 picks, Francisco for a prospect and pick and Reckling for a pick.
That's what makes it fun in my opinion

yanks - when i got harvey he was struggling with control, ortiz looked finished and starlin was the crown jewel of that dealing looking like the next arod. We still dont know is castellanos is as advertised...
