Also - how are determining picks next year? Might be a good year for a random generator.

I don't think changing to a random selection after the season has started is a very fair way to do things. I think we should just keep it the same.

100% agree with Rangers leave it as it is! If there is 3 teams tie for last Place i can understand using it for those 3 teams.

Not fully random. If it was random with in like the top five and everyone else was by record then that could work, similar to the NBA lottery but no way should all teams be random

Because of the randomness of a 60 game roto season and the fact that some teams have been decimated by IL stints and postponements the plan that has been discussed is to use a weighted draft lottery generator for each of the 6 rounds. And since there was no minor league season we will probably up the prospect limit to 30 for the next season but there will have to be a requirement to get back down to 25 prospects before the 2022 draft takes place, a TBD deadline would be set for that.

I'm good with any plan for the draft this year and using a lottery or something like that works just fine. The only thing I would say would be to only up the limit to 27 or 28 instead of 30. I know that's a small thing, but at 30, pretty much no cuts need to be made this offseason. At 27 or 28, there will not need to be many cuts as most teams have had at least one or two prospects promoted this year.

When Rox and I talked, that was kind of the idea, not having to really cut any prospects. With idk, 90% of prospects not playing this year it's awfully difficult to judge who to cut and for who exactly since again they haven't played.

I am going to lock signings for the remainder of the season after the last games start tonight. Once the postseason is wrapped up I will work on getting the league and rosters rolled over.
