This is for you to decide. Over the years he has been an incredible asset to this league and has a championship ring to boot.
Is he a drama Queen?.....Absolutely. Can he play nicely with others?.....Dunno Is he one of the best GM's we have had?.........Definitely Is he the biggest pain in me butt?.....WITHOUT QUESTION
Lets do this quick so we can proceed accordingly.

there seems to be a lot of tom foolery going on around here regarding the spreadsheet.
Braves can and should validate everything I'm about to say so I hope he does.
when I got booted for my playful boat comment I wanted access to the spreadsheet back becasue well I BUILT THE DAMN THING. So Braves gave me access back and said that since I was just going to restart edgar league and use the spreadsheet there he would make a copy and use his copy for this league. So I cleared it out so I could use it to restart edgar.
Unfortunately some of you are spreading lies that I tried to sabotage the league and the spreadsheet blah blah blah, anyway you all know the truth and just like I told braves "I may be an a-hole, but I am not a dick" so maby that clears up the facts for you rookies who are trying to vote me out.

Well by vote Astros will not be reinstated. For those of you wondering the vote of the veterans was split so it was not a rookies versus veterans deal. Obviously the vote is confidential and will never be made public. This should be a quick process to find a new GM so just sit tight and we will get the next round of free agency going.

For the record I did not vote at all but this has gotten blown out of proportion like Stros was kicked out for talking trash. The fact is Stros retired on his own! No one kicked him out, no one made him leave, he left on his own. This is not the new guys fault or the guys he pissed off. He left, we replaced him. If that other manager would have stuck this wouldn't even be an issue. Stros did alot for the league and yes he was a good manager but he decided to up and leave more than once I might add, and then to more than one person threatened to destroy the league. This has nothing to do with Stros trash talk, or how he was an ass, we know he was, no one liked him. But no one made him leave it was a conscious decision. He made his bed now has to lie in it

Astros is a huge assest to the league. Although he may be retarded sometimes, we never evicted yanks or reds for their retardation. Guys it is toooooooo hard to find good competition. Bring him back!

And this league will be less fun bc what makes it fun is active managers. Not guys like bosox and chisox who never show up or post anything...bummmer

i realize that i am a rookie but a rookie planning on being here for the long haul. My take is that Astros should come back in as long as he is not making it extremely difficult on Braves and Rockies to run the league. Trash talking does not bother me a bit. In fact I enjoy someone who is good at it! The only issues I see are if he is just running havoc on the league or making other managers leave because they can't stand him. Again, he doesn't bother me one bit. But maybe that's because I don't take myself or fantasy baseball too seriously. I completely agree with Cardinals in the fact that it is almost impossible to find people who are committed and good.

At the risk of wading into a messy situation, I'd point out that in the short time I've been in this league, there has been less activity and less fun because of Astros' actions. We should be bidding on free agents right now. Instead, we're stuck in a holding pattern. To pin this on rookie owners is unfair. Only one person is responsible for this situation.

As supreme leader of Egypt for more than 30 years I know a true leader when I see one, and Astros is just that. He is a great friend and has helped me through difficult times. I fully endorse Astros being let back in.
Signed,
Hosni Mubarak supreme dictator of Egypt

I understand your point Cubs and instability is killing the league yes, but how can you think that Stros is more stable than the next owner? He quit three seperate times in a month ! Braves has had to almost beg him back twice, he has walked away each and every time something didn't go his way. He told Braves he would create another league and steal guys from that when he was still a part of this one, threatened to steal the spreadsheet, was caught cheating more than once changing his own teams spreadsheet, has vowed to ruin this league anyway he can. And guess what he is ! Again I didn;t vote but I think the guys who did and are vets should be worried about him. He went on a 2 month crusade to get rid of Zona and Reds and won, tried like crazy to get me and Braves to kick out Cards, he is a massive issue, I can't see how anyone would even want the instability back. And Mets is right with all this garbage we should be drafting not talking about him, even when he "retired" he was drafting minor leaguers and made us wait on his decision as if we needed him. The simple fact is he now realizes he is replaceable, no one needs him and he is a 5 year old. If he asked nice and made ammends and behaved I'm sure most would say sure let him back, but you already see the stuff he is doing and he's not even back !!

And the reason I didn't vote was I was shocked there was even a vote after all the mess. I wanted to see if he'd come back hat in hand apologize and thank us for being back, but he took the other route, insulted people, threatened Braves that he will bring the league down if he wasn't allowed back , and now has bombarded the forums. This is his tactic to prove as he has said many times "I do whatever I want in this league" I'm actually baffled you'd want that element back
