Lets just keep changing league policy that has stood strong for 4 years, 2 weeks prior to free agency!

4 years is long enough for people to screw themselves.
Do we really want the potential next albert pujols signed to 6 years at 1.2 per year or something?

There should have been a no max there, I know I'm in the minority but this us a dynasty league. I know most of you want this to be a one year league but this is the only dynasty league I've ever been in or heard of that encourages turnover, kinda defeats the purpose

we also started this league with 260 in cap, 8 draft rounds and unlimited amounts of prospects... We have changed enough!

we did have many changes but the point is a dynasty league is supposed to reward people who draft well, make your auction decisions mean more with many years , and keep players that you scouted early on your team. Dynasty leagues are designed for exactly this and we are getting further and further away from this. I mean this is clearly not a dynasty league, and even regular keeper leagues you keep guys longer. I could understand the years limit because we don't want 10 year deals and dropped owners , etc but we should reward guys who draft well and give teams the ability to keep their own players year after year , my suggestion months ago was designating "franchise players" of some sort
The people who don't want to go longer than 4 years are one year minded managers and those who don't draft well. For example Rockies has Bryce Harper shouldn't he be rewarded for grabbing him when he was in the minors as opposed to in 4 years when he reaches his peak lose him to someone who just has more cash ?

The rules have been the same since the inception of the league. You should have joined a 30 team dynasty league if you wanted something different. It is what it is.

i think there is a reward for drafting well...u got ridiculous production at 3b for virtually nothing in longoria for 4 years.
I got colby rasmus (granted I took him way further back than u took longoria)

spoken by the worst drafter in the league with no long term goals It didn't take me four years to make my first playoffs and get a championship. The goal is to win, I don't want to hear any whining or crying about your "4 year plan" or any of that weak cop out excuses banter you have spewed since winning. Understand this though, the league has been governed by the same set of rules since it started to great success. Just because you have a championship doesn't make you any more of an authority than anyone else on here when it comes to changing league policy.

well 6 other league members agree with me so yeah this is a democracy , and since you've been kicked out of the league you have literally no authority. You have zero championships , you were caught cheating and thus stripped of whatever titles you think you may have earned. You said it didn't take you 4 years becaus eyou don't understand dynasty at all and cheated for your "title"
For you to sit here and think that we have the same set of rules since inception just shows how disconnected from reality you really are

you were caught cheating and thus stripped of whatever titles you think you may have earned. See this is where I must point out how much of a delusional and vendictive person you are. The year I won the championship I had no league authority, and did not have any way of cheating. The next year I was commish and did nothing shady either (cards was co-commish and can verify it all). Stop making up fake attacks to try and offset the fact that I have been a more successful GM than you, and that I have a resume here that makes me look like a Rhoads Scholar and you a high-school drop-out. Enjoy your championship, I'm sure you went to the store and got you a nice 4 foot tall trophy engraved that you sleep with every night. Realize the fact that I am back, and that I am 20-4-0 all time in 2 match-ups with you. Quit hiding behind made up lies to try and put me down. I deal in facts, SON.

I agree with Yanks on this to an extent. There does need to be more of a "dynasty" feel to this league and I think the franchise players is the best idea. Allowing all contracts to go to 6 years or more would just get ridiculous, but allowing you to extend players that you drafted for 4-5 years after their rookie deals expire without them hitting FA would be a nice addition
